24 February 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh held its 5th consular outreach mission or “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) in 2015 in Buraidah, Province of Qassim from February 20 to 21 which was held at the Philippine International School in Buraidah (PISB).
The Embassy consular team was composed of First Secretary and Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal (team leader), Ms. Lilian Adiong, Mr. Edison Ipac, Ms. Yvonne Mofar, Masrisa Nasser-Pangcoga, Ms. Margarita Manigo and Mr. Acas Bayabao Jr. They were ably assisted by Filipino community volunteers from the PISB and Filipino community organizations in Buraidah.
The team was able to process 434 e-Passport applications, four passport extensions, 12 reports of birth, and 37 notarials. The team was also able to release 72 new e-Passports.
As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, the team conducted a client feedback survey to 300 clients, of which 238 or 79.33% responded as follows:

Buraidah, which is three and a half hours from Riyadh by land, is the capital of Al-Qassim Region located in north-central Saudi Arabia. There is a large Filipino community in Buraidah. There is also one Philippine-curriculum school in the city, the Philippine International School in Buraidah, which serves the needs of the Filipino dependents living in the area.
The next consular outreach mission will be on February 27 to 28 at Al Khobar. END
