24 February 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi organized a free lecture by Brother Bo Sanchez, founder of the Light of Jesus (LOJ) family, on February 19 at the grounds of St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The lecture, entitled “Truly Rich / Wealth Conference”, was co-organized by the Bayanihan Council, the umbrella organization of all Filipino organizations accredited by the Philippine Embassy.  More than 1,000 Filipinos attended the event.

Brother Bo signified the importance of talking about money.  “The ultimate purpose of wealth is to love others,” he said.

Philippine Ambassador to the UAE Grace Relucio Princesa said, “I invited Brother Bo to give a talk in Abu Dhabi on wealth and the theology, psychology and practicality of managing money. This is part of the Embassy’s financial literacy program for overseas Filipinos and to educate our kababayans in being more responsible with hard-earned blessings that they are receiving here in the UAE.” 

Ambassador Princesa thanked Bishop Paul Hinder and Fr. Savarimuthu of St. Joseph’s Cathedral, the members of the Bayanihan Council especially Philippine Guardians Brotherhood Inc., Pinoy WISE International-UAE, LOJ, Couples for Christ and all those who supported the Philippine Embassy in holding the event.  END
