02 March 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok celebrated the 29th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution with members of the Filipino community on February 25 at the Embassy premises.
The Embassy officers and staff held a flag-raising ceremony while the celebration with the members of the Filipino community was held in the evening.
In her remarks, Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia reiterated the significance of the bloodless People Power Revolution at EDSA and how it inspired other peaceful uprisings to topple repressive regimes in other parts of the world. END
