02 March 2015 –Philippine Ambassador to Mexico Catalino R. Dilem, Jr. met on February 26 with officers from CANACO Acapulco (Cámara Nacional de Comercio Servicios y Turismo de Acapulco or National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Acapulco) represented by its President Lic. Raúl Iracheta Montoya and chamber officers Lic. Alfonso Abarca Rodriguez and Lic. Javier Saldivar Rodriquez. In the meeting, the Philippine Ambassador was informed that the proposed trade mission to the Philippines of businessmen from the State of Guerrero and members of the chamber will take place in the last week of November 2015.
President Iracheta further shared with Ambassador Dilem that the trade delegation will be composed of about 20 individuals representing the Cities of Taxco, Acapulco and other neighboring cities. The trade delegation will be interested in exploring industries related to coconut, textile, food, handicrafts and copra. END
