03 March 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta conducted mobile overseas voters registration for the Filipino community in Bandung, Indonesia on February 28, at the residence of Filipino community leader Lolit Antazo.

During the mobile registration, 13 applications for registration, 12 applications for certification as overseas voters, 15 requests for change in registered address, and two applications for voter reactivation were accepted.  These applications will be processed for approval by the Embassy’s Resident Election Registration Board during its next meeting in May 2015.

Filipinos based in Indonesia are encouraged to register with the Embassy in order to exercise their right to vote during the upcoming 2016 national elections.  Deadline for registration is on 31 October 2015. END
