11 March 2015 - Under the leadership of the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver, the Consuls General of the five ASEAN countries represented in Vancouver, namely, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, met with the officers and staff of the Asia-Pacific Foundation (APF) of Canada.

The Consuls General present were Mrs. Sri Wiludjeng of Indonesia, Mr. Mohd Adli Bin Abdullah of Malaysia, Mrs. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang of Thailand, Mr. Tran Quang Dung of Vietnam, and Mr. Neil Frank R. Ferrer of the Philippines.

Retired Ambassador and AFP President Stewart Beck hosted the meeting at the APF Headquarters in Vancouver and provided a briefing about the work of the Foundation.

Consul General Ferrer said that the two sides had very good discussions and agreed to explore ways and means of collaborating in the future towards strengthening and enhancing relations between ASEAN and Canada.  END
