11 March 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Doha, in coordination with the Philippine Association of Safety Engineers (PHASE), organized a Seminar on Office Ergonomics, Crisis Management and First Aid for Embassy and Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) personnel on March 06 at the Chancery.

The Seminar was divided into three parts: (i) Introduction to Office Safety and Hazard Identification, (ii) First Aid and CPR, and (iii) Awareness on Occupational Safety and Health, including Fire Prevention Emergency Preparedness.

After the Seminar, the Embassy and PHASE agreed to further collaborate in ensuring that the Chancery is compliant with safety procedures and protocols for the safety and security of Embassy personnel and consular clients alike.

Founded in January 2006, PHASE is an Embassy-accredited Filipino community organization of safety practitioners in Qatar. END
