11 March 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Rome, in cooperation with the Philippine Honorary Consul Franscesa Giglio and the Filipino community of Naples and Campania led by its President Precy Dimayuga, conducted a consular outreach mission in the city of Naples from March 07 to 08.

The outreach mission serviced around 450 Filipinos, with 304 applying for renewal of passports, nine Reports of Birth (RoB) and two applications for dual citizenship processed, among others. OWWA, Pag-IBIG and SSS representatives collectively serviced around 150 Filipinos.

The mission also successfully registered 259 new overseas voters.

The consular outreach was conducted by a 10-man team headed by Consul General Leila Lora-Santos, and included Welfare Officer Loreta Vergara as well as other members from the consular and Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) staff.  END
