13 March 2015 – Milo Marathon Winners Mary Joy Tabal and Rafael Poliquit paid a courtesy call on Philippine Consul General in Los Angeles (LA) Leo Herrera-Lim on March 10.

Philippine Marathon Queen Mary Joy Tabal and Philippine Marathon King Rafael Poliquit were winners of the 38^th Milo Marathon 21-kilometer race and were accompanied by Milo Sports Executive Andrew Neri and RunRio, Inc. President and Coach Rio Dela Cruz.

Marathon Queen Tabal is a two-time winner of the Milo Marathon in 2013 and 2014 and finished 2^nd at the 2015 Hong Kong Marathon.  Nestle Philippines, as an incentive for the winners of the 38^th National Milo Marathon, sponsored an all-expense trip for them to compete in the LA Marathon on March 15. 

The 30^th LA Marathon will have runners from all 50 US states and representatives from more than 55 countries.  The runners will set out from Dodger Stadium to the finish line in Santa Monica, covering a distance of 26.219 miles (42.195 km).  This year’s marathon is titled ASICS LA Marathon in honor of its current sponsor, the sports equipment company ASICS.
