18 March 2015 - The ASEAN Bowling Winter Tournament in Budapest was held at the Mammut Bowling Center in Budapest on March 08.

The tournament included Indonesian Chargé d’Affaires Basyiruddin A. Hidayat, Vietnamese Ambassador Thanh Tuan Nguyen, Philippine Ambassador Eleanor L. Jaucian, Thai Ambassador Kanthong Unakul and Malaysian Ambassador Mohamad Sadik Kethergany, together with their respective Embassy officers and staff.  The Ambassadors started the tournament with the ceremonial ball roll.

The team with the highest scores in the tournament was Indonesia, taking first prize, the Philippines with second prize, Vietnam with third, followed by Malaysia and Thailand.

The Philippine Embassy won the two most coveted special prizes of the tournament.  Ambassador Eleanor L. Jaucian was awarded the Female Top Scorer of the tournament, while Mr. Eulogio Comaya, the Philippine Embassy’s Finance Officer, won Male Top Scorer.

The tournament was a success and forged further amicable relations among the five ASEAN Embassies in Budapest.  END
