honolulu graduates

19 March 2015 - Philippine Consul General Gina Jamoralin congratulated  the five Filipino graduates of the Comprehensive Security Responses to Terrorism Course taken from February 11 to March 13, organized by the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) in Honolulu. The 107 graduates of the one-month course came from countries in the Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the United States.

The five Filipino graduates were  Atty. Cherrie Belmonte-Lim, Director IV, Department of National Defense; Commander Enrico Efren Evangelista, Coast Guard District Central Visayas; Atty. Joel Santos, Legal Officer, Anti-Money Laundering Council;  and Agents  Victor John Paul Ronquillo and  Edgar Digman, National Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice. The course provided them with an opportunity to hear the perspectives of different countries and agencies engaged in security issues and practices. 

APCSS Director General Dan Leaf (Ret.) invited Consul General Jamoralin together with the other members of Hawaii’s Consular Corps as guests during the Commencement Program for the graduates held at the APCSS auditorium on March 13.

APCSS is a US Department of Defense academic institute based in Honolulu focused on leader development. It invites military and civilian representatives from the US and Asia-Pacific countries to its comprehensive programs tackling regional and global security issues. END
