23 March 2015 – Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia on February 26 paid a courtesy call on Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, the new Director General (DG) of the Department of East Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. DG Sarun took over Mr. Damrong Kraikruan who was appointed as Ambassador of the Royal Thai Government to Malaysia.

During the call, Ambassador Batoon-Garcia and DG Sarun noted that overall Philippines-Thailand bilateral relations remain cordial and dynamic. They also reaffirmed the friendly relations between the two countries and their peoples.  END
