23 March 2015 – The Philippine Embassy attended the opening ceremony of the Great Egg-Venture at the Sentosa Harbourfront on March 15 at VivoCity organized by the Sentosa Harbourfront Business Association (SHBA).
Three Filipino artists, Pierre Patricio, Melissa Yeung and John Tan are among the 50 local and regional artists commissioned to create an SG50 commemorative egg that expresses their perspective on Singapore’s celebration of its 50th anniversary of independence.Their painted and decorated mini-egg sculptures are being auctioned for charity by the event’s organizers.
The Great Egg-Venture runs from March 14 to April 05. END
