26 March 2015 – The UST Graduate School of International Business paid a courtesy call on the officials of the Philippine Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, headed by Chargé d’ Affaires and Vice Consul Melvin C. Almonguera, on March 19.
The delegation, led by Dr. Elizabeth O. Recio, professional lecturer at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Graduate School, was in Brunei from March 18 to 25 to conduct an academic tour as part of its International Business course requirements and to provide the students an opportunity to be exposed to effective business strategies on-site.
During the courtesy call, the Embassy officials made a presentation on the bilateral relations between Brunei and the Philippines, and the role of the Philippine Embassy, particularly in preserving and enhancing national security, implementing economic diplomacy and in assisting Filipino nationals abroad.
