26 March 2015 – The Philippine Consulate General in New York conducted its first consular outreach mission for 2015 in Jersey City on March 14.

The consular outreach mission received and processed applications for passports, notarizations, civil registry registration and reacquisition of Filipino citizenship, as well as addressed inquiries about consular matters from about 50 members of the Filipino community in Jersey City.  The consular outreach mission was held at St. Mary’s Church and organized in partnership with the Catholic Action of Mary.

This is the first of 16 consular outreach missions thatwill be conducted by the Philippine Consulate General throughout 2015 in various sites across six states. These missions are organized in cooperation with Filipino organizations in those areas. 

The Philippine Consulate General aims to bring its services closer to the public through these consular outreach missions. END
