01 April 2015 – Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Maria Lumen B. Isleta called on the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary General Yohanes Kristiarto Soeryo Legowo on March 05.

Ambassador Isleta and Secretary General Legowo reaffirmed the strong ties between the Philippines and Indonesia and committed to the further strengthening of bilateral relations.

Both officials expressed their desire to see lasting peace in Mindanao.

Earlier, Ambassador Isleta met with the Director-General for ASEAN Cooperation, I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja. The two officials exchanged views on the situation on the South China Sea (West Philippine Sea) and agreed on the importance of concluding the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea as soon as possible.
