07 April 2015 - Olympic Police Station Commander Captain III Vitto Palazzolo paid a courtesy call on Philippine Consul General Leo Herrera-Lim at the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles on March 25.

The two officials discussed ways of further strengthening cooperation between the Olympic  Station of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, focusing on collaboration on community projects including the recruitment of more Filipino-Americans into the LAPD and personal safety campaigns.

During the meeting, Consul General Herrera-Lim expressed his appreciation for the visit of Captain Palazzolo who assured the Consul General of his commitment to building stronger networks with the Philippine Consulate General and the Filipino-American Community of the Olympic Area of Los Angeles City.
