07 April 2015 – Philippine Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Junever Mahilum-West presented a copy of her credentials to Mohammad Taiser Bani Yaseen, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on April 01 on the occasion of her assumption of duty.

Secretary General Yaseen welcomed and congratulated Ambassador Mahilum-West and promised her the Ministry’s utmost cooperation and support.

For her part, Ambassador Mahilum-West said she is delighted to be in Jordan and looks forward to further enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas, including security cooperation. She also expressed the Philippines’ admiration for the decisive leadership and the pivotal role Jordan plays in combating terrorism in the region. END
