23 August 2013 – The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu awarded a Certificate of Recognition to Ms. Erika Joy Ordoñez, 2013 Miss Oahu Filipino for winning the Statewide Miss Hawaii Filipina 2013 beauty pageant on August 08 at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall, Kauai, Hawaii.

The simple awarding ceremony, held also on August 08 at the Consulate was attended by the Consulate’s officers and staff, as well as parents and friends of the awardee.

Ms. Ordoñez bested 3 other contestants coming from Hawaii’s other islands – Kauai, Maui and the Big Island.  END
