06 April 2015 – Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia participated in a dialogue at the “Era of the ASEAN Economic Community: Scenarios, Stakes and Strategies” conference on March 25, held at the Hotel Plaza Athenee in Bangkok. Ambassador Batoon-Garcia encouraged participants to equally understand and discover the opportunities brought about by the politico-security, economic, and socio-cultural pillars of the ASEAN Community.

The dialogue was organized by the Institute of Security and International Studies (ISIS), Nikkei Asian Review, and Thamassat University. The dialogue was moderated by Dr. Thitinan Pongsudhirak, the Director of ISIS, and was attended by 250 guests from the business sector, academe, media, and the diplomatic community in Thailand. END
