7 April 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Brussels conducted on March 22 a consular outreach mission in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The Embassy team headed by Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul General Robespierre L. Bolivar extended consular assistance to Filipinos living in Luxembourg and the provinces of Saarland and Rheinland Pfalz in Germany.
The consular outreach was held at Paroisse de Sacré-Coeur Salle (Sacred Heart Parish Community Social Hall) where a mass for Filipinos is held every 4th Sunday of the month. Among the services offered were legalization of documents, petitions for reacquisition of Philippine citizenships, civil registry applications and passports services.
The Embassy also registered 25 new overseas voters during the outreach. Two Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Mses. Grindale Gamboa and Divina Ann Valero, both Senior Auditors at Ernst & Young (EY-Luxembourg), a major multinational audit firm, registered with the Embassy as the 700th and 701st new overseas voters for the purposes of the 2016 national elections.
