15 April 2015 - The ASEAN Committee in Madrid (ACM), led by ACM Chairman and Philippine Ambassador to Spain Carlos C. Salinas, paid a courtesy call on Spain’s Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo on April 08 at the Palacio Sta. Cruz.

Joining Ambassador Salinas were Thai Ambassador Busaya Mathelin, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Ngoc Binh, and the Chargés d´Affaires of the Indonesian and Malaysian Embassies, Mr. Erie Bawono and Mr. Ahmad Amiri bin Abu Bakar, respectively.

The ACM is one of 47 ASEAN Committees in Third Countries and International Organizations (ACTCs) around the world.

During the call, Foreign Minister Margallo, Ambassador Salinas and the ACM members discussed ways to further enhance trade and investment relations between ASEAN and Spain, as well asto foster greater cooperation in the field of culture. END
