22 April 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Rome and the Philippine Consulate General of Florence, in partnership with the Filipino European Association, conducted a consular outreach mission in the town of Empoli in Tuscany on April 18 and 19. The eight-member consular team was led by Philippine Consul General Leila Lora-Santos.

The consular outreach mission processed 413 e-Passport applications, 31 applications for Report of Birth and 61 other consular services. The mission likewise registered 405 new overseas voters.

Representatives from the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-IBIG accompanied the Embassy team and collectively served some 180 Filipinos. 

The next consular outreach of the Embassy is scheduled in Palermo, Sicily on May 09 to 10. END
