08 May 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh conducted its 11th mobile overseas voters registration at the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam, Eastern Region from May 01 to 02.
The two-day registration was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Second Secretary and Consul Maria Angelica C. Genotiva. The overseas voters mobile team was able to register 251 new overseas voters and certified 53 registered voters.
The on-going overseas voters registration is being held at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh and during Embassy-On-Wheels schedule in the different regions under the Embassy’s jurisdiction until October 31. Filipino workers in the Kingdom are reminded to bring their old Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Identification Cards when coming for consular services.
The next schedule of mobile overseas voters registration will be held at the Al Lagait Esteraha, Sakaka, Al Jouf from May 08 to 09. END
