11 May 2015 - The Philippine Embassy received on April 30 a donation of medicines, 10 tarpaulins and 10 blankets from the leaders of New Delhi’s Filipinos in India Community (FIC-NCR). Leaders of FIC-NCR, Ms. Fatima Sharma, Paz Marquez and Alma Ferrer, turned over the donations and expressed their sympathy for fellow Filipinos in Nepal who suffered damage to their property or loss of their homes.

The donated goods were brought by the Embassy’s second Crisis Management Team (CMT-2) to Kathmandu on May 01. CMT-2 also brought  goods and medicines to Kathmandu from the Philippine government, which will be useful for Filipinos currently experiencing difficulties brought about by the recent earthquake. END
