13 May 2015 – As part of the ongoing efforts to increase overseas voters registration (OVR) in Austria, Croatia, Slovak Republic and Slovenia, the Philippine Embassy in Vienna launched on May 07 the iREHISTRO, an online registration program for Filipino applicants who wish to register and be able to vote in the 2016 Philippine national elections. The first applicant to be registered by the Philippine Embassy in Vienna was Ms. BERNIZA MAE DELA PEÑA SAMONTE, also a first-time voter. 

To register using iRehistro, visit www.irehistro.com or www.comelec.gov.ph, fill out the online application form and print the accomplished form for submission to the Consular Section at the selected appointment date and time for biometrics capturing.

Overseas voters registration through iREHISTRO is available from May 05 until October 31. Filipino citizens may access iREHISTRO in their homes or at the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy in Vienna, where an iREHISTRO has been set up to make it more accessible for Filipinos interested to avail of the service.
