15 May 2015 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles hosted a welcome reception on May 13 in honor of the Philippine National Police (PNP) participants of the Philippine Public Safety College Officer Senior Executive Course (PPSC-OSEC) Class 2015-91. The PNP-PPSC-OSEC Class is headed by Police Chief Superintendent Roderick Mariano. Their counterparts from the Los Angeles Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) also attended the reception.
The PPSC-OSEC participants numbering 18 are in Los Angeles for a training program to enhance the participants’ competence level in preparation for their assumption to higher command positions in provincial, regional and national levels in the Philippine National Police.
This partnership between the PNP and the FBI is on its 10th year. It has deepened the law-enforcement cooperation between the Philippines and the U.S. This is the 1st batch for year 2015 received by the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles. END
