19 May 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi launched the iRehistro program to the Filipino community on May 08.  Leaders of Filipino organizations accredited to the Bayanihan Council, an umbrella council composed of 52 Filipino community groups attended the event. Members of the press were also present.

Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Grace Relucio Princesa urged the leaders to disseminate the information to all their members. She reported that the Embassy is consistently in the top three highest monthly rankings of Foreign Service Posts in terms of total number of registrants. The Embassy is second in the overall ranking for the percentage of increase of registrants compared with the previous overseas registration in 2011-2012.  

Filipino community organizations assured the Embassy of their continued support in the overseas voting registration process. END
