Osaka  forum on consular services

28 August 2013 – The Philippine Consulate General in Osaka held a dialogue entitled, Forum on Philippine Consular Services for the Filipino community in Aichi Prefecture on July 28 at the Tsunagaretto Nagoya in Nagoya City.

The forum was organized by the Philippine Society in Japan (PSJ) and the Filipino Migrants Center (FMC) – Nagoya. The Naka Ward Office of the City of Nagoya supported the Filipino activity.

The Consulate gave presentations on various consular requirements and procedures and provided the audience with an opportunity to ask their questions after each presentation. Most of the topics discussed were on marriage and judicial recognition of divorce, passport renewal including cases of lost passport and assumed identity, and report of birth. Specific consultations of some of the participants were also accommodated after the forum.  END
