29 May 2015 –Philippine Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic Nestor Z. Ochoa presented his credentials to President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos, at the Presidential Mansion in Athens on May 22.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Ochoa presented his Letter of Credence and the Letter of Recall of his predecessor to President Pavlopoulos.
A brief audience with the President took place, where Ambassador Ochoa expressed his desire to deepen relations between the Philippines and Greece during his tenure. Ambassador Ochoa also stated that relations between the Philippines and Greece reached a milestone as this year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between the two countries. Ambassador Ochoa likewise expressed appreciation for Greece’s kind hosting of land-based and sea-based Filipino workers. END
