02 June 2015 – Philippine Consul General Marciano de Borja and Madame Esperanza de Borja presented the awards to the winners of the 54^th “Miss Sampaguita” during the coronation night on May 30 at the Pacific Star Resort and Spa. 

The Miss Sampaguita 2015 is a charity project organized by the Filipino Ladies Association of Guam (FLAG) to raise funds for the various worthwhile programs/projects and causes that FLAG has planned to embarked on. Besides raising funds, the project also served as a vehicle for introducing the younger generation of Filipinos in Guam to aspects of Filipino culture and traditions that bring them closer to their roots.

As one of the most active organizations in Guam, FLAG has made significant contributions to the community through professional, volunteer and charity works of its officers and members.

This year’s Miss Sampaguita Queen is Ms. Danielle Jaleah Milan (Miss Sampaguita 2015). Her Royal Court are Ms. Brytney Giann Garcia (1^st runner-up), Ms. Jaedine Lyn Dollaga (2^nd runner-up), Ms. Christine Faith Bansil (3^rd runner-up) and Ms. Kyla Trinidad Badar (4^th runner-up). They will be joining the annual Santacruzan on June 06 at the Agana Shopping Center. The Santacruzan is part of the month-long commemoration of the 117^th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence. END
