02 June 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Berlin conducted its 5th consular mobile outreach service at the Zisterzienserkloster Stiepel, Am Varenholt 9, Bochum, on May 23. The outreach coincided with the annual gathering of about 600 Filipino pilgrims from all over Europe.
A team from the Philippine Embassy in Berlin conducted the one-day outreach, composed of Mr. Ruben Atienza, Ms. Amor de Asis-Del Mundo, Ms. Maria Cecilia Estrella, Ms. Nelma Casas and Mr. Melchor Francisco, Jr., with the assistance of P. Gabriel Chumacera, Ocist of Zisterzienserkloster Stiepel. The consular team facilitated 34 passport appications, five notarials, one civil registration, one renunciation and 51 overseas voters registrations.
The mobile outreach is part of the Philippine Embassy’s efforts in bringing its consular services closer to Filipinos residing in different parts of Germany. The next consular outreach services will take place in Hamburg on July 25. END
