04 June 2015 – The coffee table book “Pagsulay: Churches of Bohol Before and After the 2013 Earthquake” was launched on May 19 at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago.

During the launch, University of San Carlos President Fr. Dionisio M. Miranda, SVD, Vice President for Finance Fr. Generoso Rebayla, Jr., SVD, and Dr. J. Eleazar Bersales, who authored “Pagsulay,” delivered a brief presentation about the 240-page coffee table book. They explained that book was made to help raise funds to rebuild and restore churches in Bohol that were destroyed in the 2013 earthquake.

About 45 coffee table books were sold during the launch and the members of the Filipino-American community had the privilege of securing copies of the book autographed by the author and the current President of the University of San Carlos, Fr. Miranda.

 A small reception at the Consulate General concluded the day’s event. END
