09 June 2015 – Philippine Ambassador to Hungary Eleanor L. Jaucian was invited to a working luncheon on May 27 by Honorable Zsolt Csenger-Zalán, Member of the Hungarian Parliament and President of the newly-formed Hungarian-Philippines Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Friendship Group of the Hungarian National Assembly.  Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations through Parliamentary cooperation between the House of Representatives of the Republic of the Philippines and the Hungarian National Assembly.    

The Hungary-Philippines IPU Friendship Group was formed on April 10 after approval by the Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament. The group is made up of 17 members of the Hungarian Parliament. END
