11 June 2015 - Charge d’Affaires Edgar B. Badajos discussed Philippines-Thailand relations, Philippine culture and tourism, and many other related matters during an interview with TV host Khun Khusuma Yodhastmur for the television program, Thailand Today, on June 9 at the National Broadcasting Television (NBT) World studio.
Thailand Today is a 30-minute talk show conducted in the English language without Thai translation. Mr. Badajos gave the interview as part of the Independence Day activities of the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.
During the interview, Charge d’Affaires Badajos also discussed Philippines-Thailand cooperation on education, defense and law enforcement and disaster relief and mitigation, preparations of the Philippine Government for the ASEAN Community, and Embassy activities in observance of the 117th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence.
Thailand Today currently promotes the Independence Day celebration of various Embassies in Thailand under NBT World, a 24-hour English language television service aired from Monday to Friday at cable channel NBT11. Mr. Badajos’ interview will be aired today, June 11, with a repeat showing on the following day.
