23 June 2015 - The Philippines and other members of the Platform for Human Rights Education and Training (Costa Rica, Italy, Morocco, Senegal, Slovenia, and Switzerland) submitted the following amendment to the Ministerial Declaration of the World Education Forum which was adopted during the Conference from May 19 to 22 in Incheon, South Korea:

“…We also stress the importance of human rights education and training in order to achieve the post-2015 sustainable development agenda.”

The amendment reiterates the message of the Platform’s decision adopted by the UNESCO Executive Board in April 2015 on the contribution of human rights education and training to the fulfillment of the Post-2015 sustainable development agenda. END
