25 June 2015 - ASEAN Secretary General Le Luong Minh visited Oslo from June 14 to 16 on the invitation of Norway’s Ministry of Trade to keynote the "ASEAN Norway Business Conference" on June 15. This is the first ever visit of an ASEAN Secretary General to Norway.

After the seminar, he met with Prime Minister Erna Solberg, Foreign Minister Børge Brende, and Trade Minister Monica Mæland, while Ministry of Foreign Affairs State Secretary Morten Høglund and Trade and Industry State Secretary Dilek Ayhan hosted a luncheon and dinner, respectively, in his honor.

The ASEAN Committee in Oslo (ACO) members (Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam) accompanied the Secretary General in all his meetings, except on the call on Prime Minister Erna Solberg where only the ACO Chair (Philippines) and the Vice Chair (Vietnam) were invited to accompany him. ACO also hosted a dinner in honor of the Secretary General on the day he arrived in Oslo, June 14.

Before he came to Oslo, the Secretary General also visited Copenhagen from June 09 to 11 and London from June 12 to 14. END
