29 June 2015 - The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) headed by Postmaster General (PMG) and CEO Ma. Josefina M. dela Cruz, in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General in Milan, organized a forum for Filipinos in Milan to introduce PHLPost’s new products and services.

PHLPost Deputy Postmaster Luis D. Carlos discussed about the modernization of its postal network, business and product development which includes the “e-POST MO,” an electronic remittance system that facilitates fund transfers through an instant payout process.  He also shared the corporation’s capability to deliver express mails and parcels whether domestic or international.

The meeting concluded with an open forum where attendees had the opportunity to ask PMG dela Cruz regarding specific questions and issues on remittance and other products and services.

PMG dela Cruz and Mr. Carlos were in Milan to attend the Global Forum on Remittances and Development held from June 16 to 19 in Milan.
