02 September 2013 - The Philippine Embassy in Doha, State of Qatar conducted a Post-Arrival Orientation Seminar (PAOS) at the Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Rosary on August 30. 

The Saint Pedro Calungsod Filipino Community Parish Council (SPCFC-PC) organized the PAOS, which was held immediately after the Filipino Mass.

Around 250 overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) attended the PAOS.

Philippine Ambassador to Doha Crescente R. Relacion led the Embassy panel, which discussed, among others, the Embassy’s consular and assistance-to-nationals services, Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) services, SSS and Pag-IBIG procedures and benefits. 

The Embassy regularly conducts a PAOS to inform the Filipino community of their rights, the Embassy’s services, and some relevant procedures in Qatar. END
