02 July 2015 - Consul Mary Joy Ramirez led a team from the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles and conducted a consular outreach program in Houston, TX from June 27 to 28.
The consular outreach program was undertaken in cooperation with Philippine Honorary Consul Ethel Mercado and the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas (PACC Texas) under the leadership of Atty. Gary Ilagan, State President and Tess Tuazon, Secretary.
A total of 1,189 consular and voter registration services were rendered during the two-day consular outreach program, breakdown of which is as follows:
Consul Ramirez was accompanied by Misses Angelita Aguilar, Ma. Teresa Villanueva and Melchora Tagle and Messrs. Cesar Angeles, Miguel Belen, Cesar Cruz, Ravinal Espiritu and Edmund Gidaya.
The Consular Outreach Program (COP) is a regular activity of the Consulate General to bring its various services closer to its constituents residing in areas within its jurisdiction. END
