03 July 2015 - The Permanent Mission of the Philippines to the United Nations Office and Other International Organizations in Geneva participated in a Fashion Show organized by the United Nations Women’s Guild, as part of its cultural diplomacy program.

The Philippine presentation highlighted the complimentarity of the traditional Philippine Terno, one-piece long dress with butterfly sleeves modelled by Ms. Michelle Eduarte and the modern Filipiniana Abaca Wrap embodied by a Ditas Sandico Ong creation modeled by Ms. Sharon Johnnette Agduma.

Nine other Asian countries  joined the Fashion Show which featured their respective traditional dress.

The Fashion Show was part of the breakfast hosted by the Asian Countries of the United Nations Women’s Guild. The breakfast also showcased traditional Asian cuisine. The Philippines’ leche flan was a big hit to the attendees. END
