06 July 2015 – The Philippine Consulate General in Agana hosted a pre-departure briefing for the Guam delegates to the 10th Ambassador, Consuls General and Tourism Directors Tour (ACGTDT) to be held from July 06 to 09 in Manila and Cebu.
The pre-departure briefing, which was held at the Conference Room of the Consulate General on 02 July 2015 was attended by 14 of the 34 total Guam participants, which includes five delegates from the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands as well. Guam had the second highest number of participants in the 10th ACGTDT.
Among those who attended the pre-departure briefing was Senator Frank B. Aguon, Jr. of the 33rd Guam Legislature. This will be the second time that Senator Aguon will be joining the ACGTDT. Aside from Senator Aguon, Senator Michael F.Q. San Nicolas will also be part of the 10th ACGTDT.
Consul Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian, Acting Head of Post, welcomed the delegates to the briefing and thanked them for joining this year’s tour. Consul Mark Francis C. Hamoy then proceeded to brief the 10th ACGTDT participants on the events and activities to expect during the tour program, and gave friendly reminders to make sure that everyone will have a splendid experience during the 10th ACGTDT. Consul Hamoy also touched on the program in Davao as four participants from Guam will be joining that post-tour package.
The ACGTDT information kits, which includes the tour badge, luggage tags, and details of the tour program, were distributed to the participants after the briefing. END
