07 July 2015 - Philippine Ambassador to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) Belinda M. Ante paid a courtesy call on Madame Pany Yathortou, President of the Lao National Assembly on June 29. Ambassador Ante was accompanied by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Jose Carlo G. Morales.
Madame Pany congratulated Ambassador Ante on her appointment as Philippine Ambassador to Lao PDR, and conveyed her confidence that Ambassador Ante would contribute to the broadening of the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Ante thanked Madame Pany for the warm welcome and expressed hopes that as the Philippines and Laos celebrate the 60th Anniversary of bilateral relations this year, the two countries could bring their relations to a higher level. END
