14 July 2015 – Officers from the Tawid Heritage Center paid a courtesy call on Philippine Consul General to Macau SAR Lilybeth R. Deapera on July 03 at the Philippine Consulate General. The call was headed by Ms. Evelyn F. Cabanban, author/publisher of books and producer of CDs focusing on Philippine culture and music.
Ms. Cabanban, together with Ms. Arlene de Torres, donated a book and two CDs focusing on Philippine culture and music. According to Ms. Cabanban, one of the projects of the Tawid Heritage Center is to promote Philippine culture through books and CDs compilation.
Also present in the call and witnessed the book and CD donations were Vice Consul Ira Micheline R. Valdez, Labor Attaché Vivian F. Tornea and Cultural Attaché Jocelyn A. Bianzon-Carbonell.
Tawid Heritage Center is engaged in the production of books and other printed materials, as well as audio recordings of Filipino, classical, and contemporary music. It is accredited by the Department of Education and a member of the National Book Development Board. END
