Milan Calls on IFTI

21 July 2015 - The Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI - Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale) based in Milan, Italy expressed support for the Philippine Consulate in Milan in organizing an international seminar on the West Philippine Sea to be attended by political experts, researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders in the last quarter of the year.

Philippine Consul General in Milan Marichu Mauro reiterated that the Philippines is committed to resolving its disputes with China peacefully and in accordance with international law. She updated ISPI on the ongoing presentation of the Philippine case regarding the matter of jurisdiction over the current maritime dispute with China before the Arbitral Tribunal at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, Netherlands
