23 July 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Doha conducted a mobile overseas voters registration for the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) during their Mid-Year General Membership Meeting and Seminar 2015 which was held on July 10 at the Plaza Inn Hotel Doha.

Forty nine (49) Filipinos applied for overseas voters registration, while seven applied for transfer of their voters registration.

Administrative Officer Victoria P. Artificio led the five member team of the Embassy composed of Mr.  Mark Christian G. Santos, Mr. Francis A. Amaro, Mr. Gerald Joe O. Villareal,  and Mr. Arnold D. Arellano.

Deputy Head of Mission Gonaranao B. Musor also served as keynote speaker during the event where he encouraged Filipino Mechanical Engineers to register and take part in the upcoming 2016 elections in choosing the Philippines’ next leaders.

The Embassy regularly conducts mobile registration drive during events of Filipino community organizations and in companies with many Filipino employees to reach out to as  many eligible overseas voters as possible. END
