31 July 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, headed by Ambassador Maria Lumen B. Isleta, together with officials from the Department of Justice and Department of Foreign Affairs met with the officials of Indonesia’s Attorney General’s Office.

The meeting was aimed at establishing confidence-building and exchange of information on the legal systems of the Philippines and Indonesia, especially in the area of criminal procedure. The officials of the two countries indicated their desire to institute closer cooperation on matters relative to initiatives upholding the rule of law. END
