The workshop provided an introduction to understanding disability and endeavoured to cultivate the participants’ interest in contributing to the development of more programs that address the needs of people with disabilities.

In his welcome remarks, Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo highlighted the importance that the Philippine government attaches to the promotion of awareness of disability and expressed his appreciation to CDD for joining the Philippine Embassy’s observance through a workshop specially designed for the Filipino community.

More than 80 guests attended and participated in the workshop which featured interactive games, group discussions and video presentations. The CDD team was led by Mr. A.H.M. Noman Khan, founder of CDD and a Ramon Magsaysay awardee for his notable role in the achievements of the centre.
