05 August 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, conducted a consular mission in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, on July 24. The Embassy team was warmly welcomed by the Philippine Honorary Consul in Botswana, Mr. Remigio Borello, and the officers and members of the Filipino Association of Botswana. The Embassy team was able to provide passport renewal and passport extension services to the Filipino community.
The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria regularly conducts consular missions in the ten countries under its jurisdiction - South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Namibia, Swaziland, Zimbabwe and Zambia. There are a total of approximately 221 Filipinos residing in Botswana. END.
