06 August 2015 - Bringing together talented young singers aged 18 to 28 years from the Asia Pacific region, the Asia Pacific Youth Choir performed a choral concert on August 04 at the courtyard of the Municipal Library of Cesate, Milan.
The Asia Pacific Youth Choir composed of members from different countries in the Asia Pacific including the Philippines, performed the songs Anima Christi by Ryan Cayabyab and Sa Ugoy ng Duyan by Lucio San Pedro in the night’s repertoire.
The group was hosted by the local government of Cesate, Milan in cooperation with Expo 2015. The concert is part of the XXIV International Choir Festival “La Fabbrica del Canto-Feeding Souls, Thanking for Food”, organized and promoted by the Associazone Musicale Jubilate, Associazone Officine Musicali, the World Federation of Choral Music (IFCM) and the Italian Federation of the Regional Choral Associations (FENIARCO).
The Asia Pacific Youth Choir is established as one of the most remarkable musical and intercultural experiences offered to young musicians in the Asia Pacific region. END
